Liturgical Commission

Our Mission	The Liturgical Commission assists the Rector in planning, leading and evaluating our corporate worship within the framework provided by the Book of Common Prayer, Hymnal, and other authorized liturgical forms and the Canon Law of the Episcopal Church.  We encompass the following liturgical ministries:  Altar Guild, Flower Guild, Acolytes Guild, Organist-Choir Director, Bell Choir, Star Choir, Lay Readers, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, Lectors, Columbarium Garden and Stations of the Cross on the Epiphany trail.  We seek to offer to God a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving in all our corporate worship that expresses a deep reverence rooted in our Anglican tradition while at the same time adapting to a changing world with the unchanging joy of Christ’s living presence in our liturgies.
Responsibilities	The members of the Commission serve as a board of advice to the priest into the sensitivities of the congregation.
