The mission of the Finance Commission of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany is to ensure that the Church has an accountable monetary policy, a stable financial future and provide guidance to the Vestry so that it may prudently and effectively manage the financial affairs of the church.

• Provide the Vestry with appropriate financial information.
• Perform an ongoing review of the church’s financial internal controls.
• Review the audited or reviewed financial statements of the church and present a summarization of those statements to the Vestry.  
•  Provide assistance and guidance to the church’s financial personnel and treasurer as needed.      
• Develop budgets that will support the church’s vision and mission statement while aligning financial resources and monitoring performance against the budget.
• Provide assistance, guidance and review of the church’s investments.  
• Others to include, but not be limited to; reserves, insurance, contracts and property use fees.
