Sacramental Instruction - Confirmation

Focus of the Program	Confirmation class brings students to a deeper understanding of the baptismal covenant and the Book of Common Prayer. The class stresses the importance of relationships in faith with God as lived out in the world with other people.  The curriculum uses the text “Making Disciples”. Each confirmation candidate is paired with a mentor (a member of the congregation) and will meet with their mentor frequently to explore the meaning of a personal relationship with Christ. In addition, each confirmation candidate will be expected to complete a service project in the community.
Audience	Age 16 and older
Instructor(s)	The Reverend Meredyth Ward and Mentors (a member of the congregation).
Schedule	Confirmation classes and activities take place over a 1+ year period. Candidates and mentors work out their own schedule.
Location	Mentor and confirmation candidate determine meeting location.
Program Fees	Donations to defray the cost of materials will be gratefully accepted.
