| Focus of the Program |
Holy Matrimony instruction is intended to explore the meaining of the covenant
of Holy Matrimony for Christians and to help them understand the nature of the
covenant they will make. The couple will work to identify their strengths and
weaknesses in building this marriage covenant-family, communication, finances,
sexuality, hopes & dreams, and faith. |

Inquirer's class participants will discuss:
- Church history
- the Bible
- the Book of Common Prayer
- the catechism within the Book of Common Prayer
- the sacraments especially the Baptismal covenant and the Eucharist

| Audience |
Holy Matrimony instruction is open to mature couples who meet the legal requirements
for marriage in the state of Massachusetts. |

| Schedule |
Couples should request Holy Matrimony instruction 6 months to 1 year in advance
of their intended wedding date. There are usually 4 to 5 sessions. |

Priest in Charge's office. |
| Program Fees |
There are no fees for Holy Matrimony instruction. If the couple will be married
at the Church of the Epiphany, it is suggested they make a donation to the Rector's
Discretionary Fund. Fees also apply for the organist and use of the parish halls,
if applicable. |
