Fellowship Commission
Chairperson: Judith Phillips
The Fellowship Commission of the Church of the Epiphany exists to facilitate
the gathering of parishioners and their families and friends so that they may
share with each other moments of friendship, support and faith. It is the mission
of the Fellowship Commission to promote fellowship among parishioners by offering
food, friendship, conversation and fun all in the name of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ, that He might be present among us and that the Lord's enduring warmth
and love might be felt by all those who are gathered in His name so that their
faith might be enriched. |

Finance Commission
Chairperson: Steve Lewis
The mission of the Finance Commission of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany
is to insure that the Church has an accountable monetary policy, a stable financial
future and provide guidance to the Vestry so that it may prudently and effectively
manage the financial affairs of the church. |

Health Cabinet
Chairperson: Marianne Wagner
The Health Cabinet is a group of parish volunteers who are concerned about health
and are committed to seeing that the health ministry of the church is carried
out. The goal of parish nursing is to increase health consciousness of individual
parishioners or the congregation as a whole. |

Liturgical Commission
Chairperson: The Rev. Meredyth Wessman Ward
The Liturgical Commission assists the Rector in planning, leading and evaluating
our corporate worship within the framework provided by the Book of Common Prayer,
Hymnal, and other authorized liturgical forms and the Canon Law of the Episcopal
Church. We encompass the following liturgical ministries: Altar Guild, Flower
Guild, Acolytes Guild, Organist-Choir Director, Bell Choir, Star Choir, Lay Readers,
Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, Lectors, Columbarium Garden
and Stations of the Cross on the Epiphany trail. We seek to offer to God a sacrifice
of praise and thanksgiving in all our corporate worship that expresses a deep
reverence rooted in our Anglican tradition while at the same time adapting to
a changing world with the unchanging joy of Christ’s living presence in our liturgies. |

Outreach Commission
Chairperson: Tom Shea
The purpose of the Outreach Commission is to communicate outreach opportunites
for individual and group participation by members of our parish, and to prayerfully
decide where to give monies designated by the Vestry for outreach for the current
year. |

Stewardship Commission
Chairperson: Joanne LaPlante
Recognizing that all that we have and all that we are comes from a loving God,
the commission seeks to regularly educate the parish by helping to identify stewardship
opportunities. Through personal testimony and the written word, we hopefully stimulate
parishioners to prayerfully consider returning a portion of our time, talent and
treasure to God’s work through his church. Using the tithe as the biblically recognized
standard of giving, we encourage parishioners to return a “portion” of their gifts
to God’s work. |
